moderated problem with goldwave scripts

It has been so long since I set up goldwave, but I think there is a setting so that the windows are always maximized. I think maybe is the issue happening when the window isn't maximized?

OK, after experimenting, I find that sometimes, Jaws is giving me a
screen where if I use the Jaws cursor, I get nothing in Goldwave at all ands so the scripts don't see anything. hmmm, that did not work, I will see if I can find the .exe file and

goldwave scripts no longer do anything. For instance, alt-shift-d does not announce the duration and pressing ] does not say anything as it should. If I do insert-q I do get the following. Goldwave 5 and 6 settings are loaded, so I don't know what happened. I am using goldwave version 6.53. Any assistance would be appreciated. -- Your life is like a penny. You're going to lose it.
