moderated Can you search for highlighted text in MS word?
Cynthia Bruce
Hi All,
I received a manuscript proof that indicates a missing resource is highlighted. Can I search for this highlighted text? I am using JAWS 2020 and Word 2016.
Thanks,
Cynthia

Check out skim reading in the training docs. I am sure you can search for a color, but not sure about a highlight.
Maybe. Good luck!

Cynthia,
See: https://cybertext.wordpress.com/2010/01/25/word-find-highlighted-text/ and use find to find "find function" to get straight to the meat of the matter for the method you'll use. If you don't like that tutorial, then have a look at the others returned by this DuckDuckGo Search: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=MS-Word+search+for+highlighted+text -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 2004, Build 19041 The purpose of education is not to validate ignorance but to overcome it.
