Moderated Bluetooth headphones

Ralph Supernaw

Are there any Bluetooth headphones that are responsive enough to use with my laptop? It would be a bonus if the same ones worked well with my iPhone XR.

Thanks.

I can recommend to you the H800 Logitech. I bought this headset from the Harboltcompany.com I think he still has some left.

I looking on the Logitech website and it seems like this model has been discontinue.

It is a blutooth/wireless and comes with a USB dongle.

If you want you can find a whole slue of prices, models, makes and brands on Amazon.

Check around for the h800 at Best Buy, Target, Amazon, etc.
I paid $62 at Best Buy.
Good headphones using the wireless USB with the laptop and the bluetooth with my iPhone.

Have you tried pairing them with your laptop?  I know I got a nice pair of earbuds from amazon with a built in microphone.  Although paired with my XR, I’ve not tested them with my laptop as, frankly I never saw the need.   I use my XR when out in the backyard with the dogs and on a call.  The XR sits in the holder for my iPhone in the lawn chair while I am walking around the yard checking up on the dogs. With the built in microphone I hear the person and they can hear my response to their comment. Whether there is Bluetooth headphones that can be paired to more then one device, I don’t know.  Thus your enquiry.

Milton, with the latest JAWS option allowing for elimination of lag with Bluetooth headphones, do you find these responsive with JAWS?

Thanks.

Dean

Hi Ralph,

Here, I am really happy with my Trkez Air from Aftershokz. Get a description of it behind this link:
https://aftershokz.com/products/air?variant=5304364204069

I admit that bone conduction technology may appear quite disruptive but since it is very responsive with all the screen readers I'm used to, and with my Android smartphone, the only reason why I am still using regular headphones is when I want to listen to music.

The 6 hours battery life is when you use it for continuous audio streaming but in regular screen reader use conditions, I can keep it running 8 hours or so without needing to recharge it. I bought it two years ago now and the battery is performant enough yet.

Finally, although the option to avoid Bluetooth connection cutoffs while running Jaws 2020 is definitely an enhancement, my Trekz Air remains still useable with this option turned off. However, since turning it on does not seem to significantly drain the battery more than before, I always keep it on on my laptop.

HTH, Have a nice day. Chris D
