moderated jaws cutting in and out with air pods bluetooth headset
mike mcglashon
Hey guys: I am test driving some airpods with bluetooth with dell computer, win10, and jaws 2020; I notice that jaws cuts out, and when I hit insert-t or any jaws command, The first part of what needs to be said is cut off; Almost like there is some sort of delay that jaws goes through before speaking through the headset; Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Please advise as you like.

If you’re using the Latest JAWS2020, you should be able to resolve this in the settings center (default) Under the User settings there is an option to Avoid Speech cutoff. It’s the ninth arrow down from the top.

If you are using JAWS 2020 June built, there is an option to prevent this.

Hi.
I’m not the original person asking this question, but I tried this setting with a Bluetooth speaker, and there was no change.

What is the option as this happens with me with my hearing aids. The receiver is plugged into the headphone jack on my computer and sometimes JAWS cuts out or does not work at all. I just wait for a few seconds, 15-20 and JAWS starts working again.
