moderated problem since recent update
Verlyn Baldwin
Hey guys and gals,
I have JAWS 2020 and Windows 10. I updated my JAWS this morning. This has changed the JAWS response while I am typing in a Word document. I am now hearing how many words are in the document. How do I turn this off? Thanks for your responses, Verlyn Baldwin

First, have you tried rebooting the computer? One thing
you can check is your Word scheme to see if it might have gotten switched.
Press, Insert, alt + S, to open your scheme list, if it's not on Classic or Word
classic, navigate to, Word classic for testing purposes, and press enter to
switch to this scheme. Make sure to take notice of what scheme you are
using when you invoke the scheme list keystroke in case you want to go back to
that scheme.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. *My body has absorbed so much soap and disinfectant lately that when I pee it cleans the toilet.

In case someone else encounters the same problem,
how did you fix it?
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.
