Microsoft Word 2016 Tutorial

Coleman, Alton A <ColemanAA@...>

Good morning,

Can anyone recommend a really good, comprehensive tutorial for using Microsoft Word 2016 with JAWS 18?

Something that deals with beginner and advanced functionality, and everything in between, as well as keyboard shortcuts?

Thanks for any feedback you can provide.

AC

Hi Alton,

Not a recommendation in that I haven't read it myself, but Cathy Anne Murtha, who trades as the Access Technology Institute, does Office manuals aimed at screen reader users and I've heard good feedback about them in general.

There is one on Word 2016 with JAWS. I don’t know which version of JAWS is used, but the link below leads to a table of contents which details the functionality covered.

Thanks,

Steve 🐾

I've taken several of Cathy Anne's tutorials, and they are good, and she is receptive to questions and responds promptly and helpfully.

Hi,

Did VFO ever fix the issue that prevented users from activating their copy of JAWS?

For months now, I couldn’t activate jaws 2018.

I was essentially stuck in 40-minute mode.
