Hello, does anyone know if Audible.com discontinued the gold or platinum
membership plan? It seems that it is not listed on their website... I only find the $14.95 per month or one other plan for $12 or so monthly. Of course, there are no customer reps there at this time. I can only see one plan, period, at $14.95 per month for new subscribers. They even note that there are no discounts for Amazon Prime members as far as Audible Membership goes, but there can be offers for free or deeply discounted items via Audible for Prime members only.

Okay, thank you…I kept digging around Audible’s Web site and thought that I was just not finding the gold plan. The plans were good especially if you got the 24 book plan that equaled $9.95 per book. Andy and Shubert

They have not discontinued the Platinum plan. I just updated my membership on March 5. I went under my account and found a place to renew now. I got 24 credits for about $230. Thanks Richard. I have an account currently and it doesn’t offer me anything but the escape membership or the $14.95 per credit per month. Maybe I’ll try that and see if it kicks in other offers….At this time, I have no membership plan but, have a credit that they gave me due to one of the books I purchased a few years ago disappeared from my Library.. I bet you that if I do sign up to the $14.95 membership that it will kick in…I think that that is the difference. I’m currently on the $15.95 plan and have been pleased to have gotten two recent offers where I get two books for 1 credit. There is a link I havent’ used yet where I can get 3 extra credits for something like $30. I’m not even sure I’ll keep the subscription going after another month or two, but have liked that I’ve gotten a bit more for my money while in it without making a huge commitment like the platinum plan. I’ve also done Chirp Audio books, where I get an daily email of discounted books that come in around $6 or $7 each. The player is quite accessible on iPhone; havent’ tried it with JAWS.
