That should be in settings, it can spellcheck just like in a word document.

I sometimes do F7 to spellcheck in Excel. I prefer to not have the automatic spellcheck on because it's distracting to me. There should be a spellcheck tab in its settings, or it just uses Word's settings. Glenn

I am willing to get the miss spell indications from the jaws like how in word will get the miss spell alerts either through the speech or sound.

Hi,

I have an older version of Office, and there are no spell check options in the edit tab, but it may be there in newer versions. But I'm willing to bet that if you turn on the automatic spell check in Word, it will follow in Excel. If not, you can use F7 to check the Excel document. Glenn

Dear Glenn & List:
Your version of Office must be truly ancient. even Word, Excel & Outlook in Office 2003 had f7 for spell check. There adoptions in the setup screens about doing grammar check etc. If you buy newer Office, such as 2019, you will notice vast improvements in spell and grammar checkers. Well worth the money. Mine does have F7 in Excel, it is just not in Excel's settings, like it is in Word.

Thus I am guessing Excel uses word's spell check settings. Glenn
