j2018 won't focus in Chrome
Stan Holdeman
Good morning Listers: Installed J2018 and everything worked great for a day or so. Then last night J2018 would not focus on any website using Chrome.
I have enough sight to see that the page is there as it usually is, but I cannot get J2018 to focus. Have tried all key combos I know of to obtain focus. And, yes, I have restarted the computer.
J18 still works Okay, fortunately.
Any suggestions?

What do you mean by focus? I use Chrome with Jaws 2018 and have no issues.

have you pressed jaws 6 to find out if a script file and center has been created? then you can load the center and look in the user settings for web html. somewhere in there is the option to have jaws speak all. then it will read the web pages as you go to them. -----Original Message-----

By focus I mean that nothing in the website reads. If I arrow nothing happens. If I do a say all nothing happens. If I hit insert f6 it says no headings. Insert f7 says no links, etc.
I did get the jaws cursor to read on the page.
If I hit f6 I can access the address line. Hit f6 again and I can get the favorite buttons. Nothing gets me to the body of the web article.

I experience a similar problem with Chrome and j18 occasionally, maybe

a couple of times a day. But in my case restarting chrome solves the issue. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it. If you have any chrome add-ons installed I would try uninstalling them to see if that helps. Tony On 11/8/17, Stan Holdeman <sholdeman@...> wrote:
