It didn't ask me either, but one keystroke change I made carried over, so I think all will be fine. I changed the command for time from insert+f12 to Insert+shift+t.
Insert+f12 always struck me as a really stupid keystroke.

When I installed 2018 it did not ask if I wanted to import settings from Jaws 18.

Luckily, if you made any changes in settings, after the install Jaws will ask you if you want to migrate those settings. Jaws never replaces itself. It always adds another folder and desktop icon for the new version so you can still use the prior version if you find things that work better with that version.
That is something I wish more programs would do.
Uninstalling the beta if you are running it makes sense.
