How to get window size?

Shannon

How do you get the information about the window size?
I need to make sure that the window is maximized.

Thanks
Shannon

Shannon, two ways to check for this:
press alt+spacebar, if JAWS says restore, the window is already maximized.
you can also press alt+spacebar and up arrow twice. if JAWS says
maximize, unavailable, the window is maximized already.
other list members are sure to offer other ways.

Hello Shannon,
try and get into the habit of always maximizing the window, JAWS is much
happier that way. The command is Windows/Up arrow. To get into the dialog
use, Alt/Space bar and arrow down, it will sometimes show you which is
unavailable, maximize or minimize.

Alt + space. If Maximize is unabailable then it is Maximized. If not spacebar on it or press M.
I just do alt+ space then M and be done with it.

Thanks To all of you for the pointers. I did know how to do it but it is different than what I am used to. When in WE and you issued the command for the title it would also tell you the state of the window.

Now you just have to do it out of course. I always try to set all programs to open in a full window but... Some times things don't.
Thanks
Shannon

Stascom utilities from www.stascom.co.za will automatically maximize windows without you needing to even worry aboutit.

Here is a link to an audio demo if interested as it can do more than maximize windows.

Hope this helps,
