HI, I set up “reserve” (let the site activate the keystrokes for that page ” for FaceBook in JAWS 16.
Either certain FaceBook pages do notsupport the New uses for the “j” or “shift j” or Not all versions of JAWS 16 support the new FaceBook keystrokes.
There are 3 versions of JAWS 16.
Please which JAWS 16 version supports the special key commands developed for use with FACEBOOK?
Do the special JAWS/Facebook keystrokes work for you on and then pick Facebook.
Yes I have written to FaceBook list.
But this post discusses whether or when the JAWS/Facebook key commands actually work. Perhaps there are FaceBook pages wherethe key commandsdo notwork.
Have you found a FaceBook page where they Work?! If so, which page. So one can test keystrokes on that lucky FaceBook page.

One thing I'd advise is to make sure you are on the regular facebook site. The keystrokes don't work on the mobile site. I forget which build of JAWS 16 started it, but it was a fairly early one. They seemed to work for me on that page. Even if you think you're not on the mobile site, check the address bar to be sure.

or and then press Enter on Facebook: is there a faster way to get to the edit field of of History Channel search editfield? Or the editfield of any Facebook page?
Is there some shortcut?

At first the mobile site worked better for me, and now, neither are that great, but I'm more familiar with the regular site, as I didn't know about the mobile one until last summer.

Hi,
Even with JAWS 16.0.1214, using the regular Facebook site is so
inconsistent with those special FB commands. I always use the Mobile site of FB,
which you can easily get to on a computer. The mobile site has links for just
what you need and no other stuff to get through. Just type in
m.Facebook.com
No www. Use IE11 or Google Chrome and not Firefox. The mobile site is so
easy to navigate that you do not need those special key strokes. In fact, those
key strokes will not even work on the Mobile site, because it is so easy to use
already. Take care, and let me know how it goes on the mobile site. Have a great
one.

Mobile has not been working well for me lately with 17. I'll try later tonight to see if it is any better since I put in that reserve command.
