Hi All,

In JAWS 2019 what is the keyboard command to change typing echo from words  to characters and words? Or where in the settings can I change that?  Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello,

Insert 2 toggles through the four options (characters, words, characters and words, none), but is temporary. For a permanent change:

  1. While in Word, hit Insert 6 to get to setting center.

  2. If you only want to do this for Word, type echo in the search box. If you want to make this default, hit control shift D first.

  3. Down arrow to typing echo and space bar through the four choices to the one you want.

  4. Tab to OK and hit enter.

This is now your default typing echo.
