The best accessible RSS-reader to Google Chrome with JAWS 2019

Hi everyone

What is the best accessible RSS-reader to the latest version of Google Chrome with JAWS 2019?

Thanks in advance for the answers, and have a nice day.

Regards,

Anders

To be perfectly blunt, the most accessible RSS feed reader is still the one built into IE.  Not the one for Chrome or the one for Firefox.  The RSS reder built into Thunderbird is also pretty accessible.  There may be a few third party
RSS feed readers that are JAWS accessible, but I haven't found any that are as accessible or convenient as the one built into IE.

Hi Again, and thanks for the answer.

One of my friends have problems on his computer, where Internet Explorer not will startup at the time I write you. Therefore I looking after another RSS-reader.

What is the best accessible RSS-reader that I install on Windows itself with JAWS 2019?

Regards,
Anders

The Old reader is web based and thus can be accessed from any machine or browser. www.theoldreader.com

You don’t have to worry about losing all your RSS feeds being lost if your machine dies or if somehow the browser gets corrupted or anything like that. For me, The Old Reader has proven to be the best solution and is quite accessible. To each their own, but I’d be reluctant to recommend IE since the browser itself is getting stale and is at the end of its development lifecycle. I doubt it would be a prudent choice to further tie oneself  to anything IE related at this point. Also, I did at one time use the IE built in RSS feature and while it was accessible enough, from what I recall, it wasn’t anything special.

The Old Reader has free and paid options.

I used The Old Reader for quite a while and did fairly well with it. I do have to say that my absolute favorite is https://simplerssreader.com

Are you using that one now?

Yeah, it's what I use now.

I may give it a spin, but briefly checking, it doesn’t' seem to work with iOS RSS apps. This for me would be a deal breaker since I also use Lire on my iPhone.

It's up to the various apps to support it. i'm sure that Lyre might look into it if you contact them. Also it probably works well on a phone, since it has a mobile version. I only use web-based RSS readers, so I have absolutely no need for this.
