Accessing Windows 10 Start Menu Search Results

Michal Nowicki <mnowicki4@...>

Dear List,

I wanted to let you all know that the latest version of WindowEyes (9.2.1)
does read search results automatically in Windows 10. So, if you have
Office 2010 or later, you can take advantage of this by installing
WindowEyes for Office users, at least until FS releases a fix.

I down arrow to list the results.
I think it would be annoying if jaws read hundreds of results
automatically...

That's not what I meant. WindowEyes does not read all results
automatically, only the one that has focus. That is how JAWS behaved in
Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.

Are you saying that JAWS does read the start search entries. I was under the
impression that it didn't read them.

Thanks
Debbie

Michal Nowicki <mnowicki4@...>

It does, but not automatically as you type your search term; you have to use
the arrow keys to get JAWS to read them.
