jaws and rdp questions

Hi,

My wife is using rdp at work and needs to switch back and forth from the rdp
session to her desktop to see her outlook as part of her job. She is using
remote desktop to connect to their remote computer as there a way for her to
switch between her desktop and the remote session without having to log off?

IIRC you use ctrl+alt+pause (the rightmost key in the group of three
above the group of six on a standard PC keyboard). That will put the
RDP into windowed mode and at that point alt+tab will switch between
programs running on the local system.

Do you use ctrl+alt+pause to switch back to Remote Desktop, thus making the command a toggle command.

I think there is some way to alt-tab in the remote session with the
client in windowed mode but I am not certain of that. If you do a
search for "RDP hotkeys" you should find a page that lists what is
available.

Dave,

Yes, it operates as a toggle.

I think that depends largely on whether or not her computer is locked down
during the remote session. Some companies may allow this. I think she
would need to ask her administrator.
