Hello Ted,
I was able to tab to burn, but if I remember correctly rip was in the
context menu, and is not showing up now. Further Jaws is not doing anything
when the disk is inserted. I needed to go to All Programs, and select
Windows Media Player.
Thank you for your input.
Cheers Kevin.

Pardon my lapse of memory; isn't this the one that debuted with 7? It was my
understanding that it would undergo no further development, so I presume
it's the same one I have.

I am using the same equipment and have the same issues. Now, at least I am
glad to know it is the new version, and not me. I have been tabbing and
arrowing like a hampster in a wheel for 2 days, and look forward to a
solution. I was able to tab to burn, but never did find rip.
Thankk you all,
Cheers Kevin.

Ariel

I can help you with Goldwave. I've been using it for a long time. You can
download it and try it free for a while until you have performed a certain
number of operations with it. I can't remember how many. Then you can
purchase a one year license for less than $20 or you can purchase a
life-time license for around $50. It is very accessible and can be
controlled by the keyboard.
There are a great number of features. Some you will use often and some you
may not use at all. The help files and manual are extensive.

It's not so much a Jaws friendly program as it is an access friendly one.
If you have any questions, send me an email to rex.howard@...

Ariel, take a look at the audio podcasts archive of blind-geek-zone.net.
I believe the Goldwave recordings are still available, if not you can email
him to inquire about them. he might know of additional recordings to check
out.

Hi Paul,
How are you?
This is Ariel from the JAWS list. I just saw your message. I'm
interested in GoldWave and all of this software. I would like to study
broadcasting, but I have no experiences with editing audio etc. How
can I learn more about this software. Do you have any tutorials or
happen to know of tutorials? Thanks, Ariel
