a1 style versus r1c1 style in excel 2010
mike mcglashon
hi guys:
I am using excel 2010 and when I change the style from a1 to r1c1 in the settings, sighted persons say it does change but jaws still reads it as if it is a1, b1, c1, etc instead of r1c1, r1c2, r1c3 etc. any ideas? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I'm pretty sure that the R1C1 setting in Excel refers to how a cell is used within formulas, etc. JAWS does not have a setting to change how a cell is identified. Dave Carlson Oregonian, woodworker, Musician, and pioneer

I might buy this point if a sighted person had not told me that the cell reference bar shows the numbers and not the letters. that is why I think jaws is not reading correctly.

Okay, then I think it deserves a call to Freedom Scientific to report it as a bug or as a feature request. Dave Carlson Oregonian, woodworker, Musician, and pioneer
