How does one read a document with say 2 text

I would like to know this as well because I may be required to draft such
documents in law school and as an attorney.

Perhaps I've asked a stumper. I did search the jaws help--something I
usually do before posting questions--and didn't find anything on this.
All the best, Brian

Are you talking about a scanned in document or a document such as a
Microsoft Word document? In which scenario do you ask this question.

I may be able to help but I need to know some specifics.

The only way I know to read columns of text in Word is to use the Say All
command. That will follow the text and read the columns. At least it does
for me. Arrowing down through the text doesn't seem to work.

Holding the Control Key down while arrowing through the text works for me.
In this way, I also hear an announcement when I move from one column to the
next or previous column.

There is also a command under page formatting to set the number of columns
per page to one column.

This is a word document sent to me by our pastor.
How he gets it into word is a question I'd have to ask.
I'm trying to figure out why we were missing a verse and just figured the
missing verse was hiding in one of those columns.
