Hi All,

While reading articles on a large array of websites on Firefox, I
often have to encounter random gibberish which considerably undermines
the joy of reading. I am pasting below the text that I encountered the

That was happening to me using JAWS 15 and IE 11, but it doesn't seem to be happening now.  My sighted husband told me it happened when confronting an ad.

Hi, Rahul. I believe this is caused by scripts which are supposed to render the web page in a particular style or code. If the code or the script on the page fails to work correctly, you are left seeing the code instead of having the code display as the text or image which it is supposed to display.

This also happens to me, and I just have to skip over the jibberish.

I find the easiest way to skip past these is to do a find on "frame end" with out the quotes.

Really JAWS has many ways of navigation and getting away from junk.  Insert 7 for links, you can move by buttons, frames, edit fields, etc.  If you're smart, unlike me, you can create rules to skip all sorts of unwanted stuff.
Despite all our complaints, there is truly nothing out there better than JAWS, in my humble opinion.

Just press the JAWS Key along with the letter F. When it says "Find What", enter the following phrase into the edit field:

frame end

Once you enter this phrase into the edit field, press enter. When JAWS finds this phrase on the page, you may be past all the jibberish.

I find the easiest way to skip past these is to do a find on "frame end"

Hi, Rahul. I believe this is caused by scripts which are supposed to render
the web page in a particular style or code. If the code or the script on the
page fails to work correctly, you are left seeing the code instead of having
the code display as the text or image which it is supposed to display.

This also happens to me, and I just have to skip over the jibberish.

I'm finding more and more of the same with both Firefox and IE 11. It seems Jaws html settings don't prevent this by default.
Not sure if Jaws can be configured to be less verbose there.

What is that anyway? I heard it has something to do with web scripts but don't recall any error messages reported by the browsers.

I have found that doing a find for "frame end" with out the quotes will skip the gibberish.  
Not a solution but it does help getting by that stuff.
