Tim Ford
Does anyone know why Freedom Scientific is releasing an update for what is now an older version? I do not believe I have ever seen such a release.

It's not weird at all. There are those of us who still use Windows XP, and JAWS16 will not work with Windows XP. So for those who cannot migrate to the latest version, they are trying to fix all the problems in JAWS15, so that Windows XP users will have a relatively stable version to use until they upgrade to a newer Windows version.

Maria, let me answer this one. Although born in Buffalo and now an Oregonian, Dave's heritage is Swedish, and he is an enormously proud granddad, or in his tradition, farfar. He is also one of the most knowledgeable and helpful contributors to this list. No, I've never met him, but his personality comes through in his posts. Your word "humility" is apt.
