Remote access with JAWS.
Michael Mote
Hi folks! I am sending this message on behalf of a friend who has asked me
to find out what is the best solution for JAWS and Remote Access. Specifically, he asked me about the Microsoft remote access, and if if works with JAWS or not. Anyone use this, or have recommendations for what he can use? Many thanks! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I think FS charges another $200 to add the remote feature to his license. Also, Jaws needs to be installed on both his machine and the remote one he would be controlling. I think all the competing solutions require installation at both ends though.

I use the MS remote desktop client with jaws on my local network and

it works well, I also use remote desktop to connect to virtual machines running on the local system and that works very well. Note in order to do this the remote end must be running either a windows server variant or be an upgraded version of the workstation line (at least Pro, but Enterprise and Ultimate also allow remote desktop connections, the various Home versions do not).
