JAWS extra counting of items in definition list?

Thanks! I wonder if they made the assumption that there would only be one definition for each <dl>. Or perhaps they goofed...

It's weird, but normal weird. Every version I've run exhibits similar behavior. It seems to count that blank space at the top.

Has anyone seen this? When we have items in an unordered list following <dl> JAWS gives us an extra count. For example, if there are two items in a list, JAWS will read: "Definition list 3 items" then "2 items in list."
