JAWS and Adobe digital editions

Hi All,
My local public library provides access to ebooks using Overdrive. I know the audio will work, but what about the Adobe digital editions books. I've read a couple of articles that say that JAWS will work with them, but what do you other users' think? Is their a special version of the software that I need?
