[Bulk] [Bulk] from field

Dave...

Yes, it would be nice if we could have something that either randomly or
systematically changed the "handle" by some stimulus or chronology.

But then of course all the spammers would use it to auto generate weird
names for their mail -- Egads! They already do that, don't they?

Hi Dave,
I thought it was some sort of keystroke you evoked or something and was
something you could do quickly but using 2010 for me I have to alt here,
enter there and bla bla bla.

Pretty cool though.

Kimsan,

Unfortunately it's not automatic. I just do it once in a while to amuse
myself.

I use Windows Mail, and go to tools/accounts.
Then I edit the preferences on the E-Mail account I'm using (in my case it's
the default) Then in the first page "General" the first tab drops me into an
edit field called Name:
I just edit that field, press Enter, and then tab out to the close button.

A bit of fussing, but not so much that I let it spoil my fun.

Hi,

I didn't know how to word the subject line but after I ask this question,
the person who does this will know I am targeting him. I was wondering, how
in the world do you do that? Farfer on the job, farfer in the shop, etc?
That's pretty cool.

Here's what I did while using outlook 2010. 1. Alt f
2. right arrow and pressed space bar on account settings
3. In the dialog, I selected the email account and tabbed to change
4. the first field will be your display name, change it to what you want and
tab to next and finish it out with close, finish and finish.
So, Dave, If I remember right, you stated you were doing that with windows
mail at one point? What are the steps for doing it in windows mail?

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

Here's what I had to do to get this all to work for me.

In Outlook 2010 do this:
Press alt+f.
You will hear save as dialog, ignore this.
Right arrow to account settings dot dot and press space bar.
Switch to the JAWS cursor.
Arrow down or up to add or remove or change accounts and press space bar.
Arrow down or up to you can add or remove account or you can select an
account and change it settings.
Tab three times to the change dot dot tool bar and press space bar.
You will land on the name of the account, which you should recognize as your
own. Go ahead and edit this to whatever you want.
Press alt+N for next.
Tab to close and press space bar.
You should hear you were successful and press space bar on finish.
Press Esc to get back to your in box.
Don't forget to switch back to the PC cursor.

Hi Dave,
I thought it was some sort of keystroke you evoked or something and was
something you could do quickly but using 2010 for me I have to alt here,
enter there and bla bla bla.

Yes, it would be nice if we could have something that either randomly or
systematically changed the "handle" by some stimulus or chronology.

But then of course all the spammers would use it to auto generate weird
names for their mail -- Egads! They already do that, don't they?

Dave...

Omar,

Do you hear the word "link" when you arrow to that URL? If not, then it's
not a real link. Something may be wrong, like an embedded character that
doesn't show.

Also, are these messages plain text or html?
