Another JAWS 13 question
Cindy
OK, I restarted my Net Book and the installation continued and went very
quickly, this time. After installing JAWS 13, I uninstalled JAWS 11, but left shared files and settings. I restarted the computer after the installation was complete, but JAWS 13 does not start automatically. I thought it would. I don't have a shortcut key set to start it, yet. So, what's the easiest way to start JAWS 13 after the computer starts? To make Jaws13 start when your computer starts, do the following; 1. Press Insert / Jaws Key + J, to open the Jaws context menu. This is if you are running from the system tray. If not, Alt + Tab, until you get to the Jaws window, press the alt key, pressenter on options, & press enter on Basics. 2. Tab to the automatically start Jaws checkbox, and press the spacebar to check it. 3. Now, tab to okay, press enter to save your changes & close the Jaws context menu. Hope this helped. Take care. Hate to say this, but you need to go on Blind Faith. When your PC has settled down, Press Windows+r to bring up the run dialog. Type JAWS13 (no spaces) and press enter. It should launch JAWS 13.
