12 and outlook 2010

Hello,
Can anyone tell me if there is any steps that should be taken to use jaws with outlook 2010?
the reason I ask is that it runs so slow that its almost unuseable. When I delete an email it takes like 5 seconds to read the next item.

running a new laptop that is no slouch so its not the machine.

thanks

Missed the version of jaws you are using, and even if new is it 64 bit?.
Jaws 12 seems a bit slow but how many programmes are running at start up,
have you tried using ms outlook? Dorothy
do you have running at start.

Doesn't sound like a jaws issue, at least not due to outlook 2010, I'm not
having any speed issues with OL10.avingof

then I am baffled when you delete emails leave them in deleted folder till you get a good many then highlite them all and delete in one go,but if your isp is helpful and you can telephone them it maybe worth trying. zen my isp are very helpful, they do not know jaws but can possibly see what is happening I know they can see if my phone line is playing up or if the trouble is their end good luck dorothy

if I am remembering correctly its the use of word to read the Emails that is at fault in many cases.

I believe the answer (if it seems not then I will go digging later today for more on it) is to find the spot to, and select something else as the email reading application.
