Research It settings question
Chris Smart <csmart8@...>
Actually you can define your own rule sets for ResearchIt, at least according to the document I found on the FS site. See my other reply for the link.

No, I don't think you can change anything with the research it feature, it is what it is. Sometimes yes? Most of the time no. -----Original Message-----

Subject: Research It settings question Hi, Is there a way of changing research it settings for UK users? When we click on area codes nothing comes up; when we click on amazon product search it brings up amazon.com and it would be better if it could be amazon.co.uk. If anyone has any ideas or where I will be able to find out please let me know. I'm sorry if this is an old question. Kirsten, unfortunately, ResearchIt is US-centric, extremely so.
However, I believe you can adapt it for other services and Websites. Look for the document * <http://www.freedomscientific.com/documentation/../../PDF/visionloss/manuals/DevDoc/Research-It-Creating-Rule-Sets-for-JAWS.doc>Research It: Creating Rule Sets for JAWS (Word file) at this link http://www.freedomscientific.com/documentation/screen-readers.asp Chris |
