ITunes again

Hi,

I uninstalled 10.4 and installed 10.3 along with the scrips that was sent to
me. Here's the message I get.

iTunes

The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by

a newer version of iTunes.

OK

What does that mean and what should I do?

Thanks.

That means you needed to delete your library file or should have kept the
iTunes 10.4 version on your system. If you don't know which file is your
library file let me know and I'll help you to figure it out. Your best bet
would have been to keep iTunes 10.4 on your system and not downgrade.
Sometimes glitches like this can happen.

I would suggest installing 10.4 again and first trying it without
scripts it works for me and somebody else on the list so it should
work for you too. I still don't see the point for scripts the only
thing it does is gives you extra key strokes to remember.

I would try going back to the newer version of iTunes and try to make it
work somehow.

Dave...

Dan,

"try to make it work"...Are you also able to use ITunes 10.4 with Windows 7?
If so, with or without the BlindTunes scripts?
Dave Carlson
From my Dell Latitude 630, currently not nearly close enough for my comfort
to my Audio Recording and Mixing Studios, San Francisco Bay Area. But I'll
try to remedy that situation.
