Hi,

Is anyone using labs.google.com and if so are they experiencing the
following?

You type in your search, press enter and when the list of results come up
get this custom google search thing. What I mean is when I try to read the
results, its like the results from google and not how it normally is
displayed for labs.google. Man, I hope I am making sense. I cannot move by
heading or anything like that. If you understand what I am saying, please
provide a response. If not, go ahead and write back and yell at me and I
will try to explain better off list.

Thankyou.

Hi,

The link I have is

http://labs.google.com/accessible/

Also, google recently announced that most of the google labs will be going
bye bye. Don't know how this will affect the above link and site. Want more,
do a quick google search for something like google labs going away.

For now, you'll have to find other ways to navigate it with jaws.

Rich

How about trying the completely accessible Google Labs without the
/accessible ending? I just created this results page that way, and it shows
headings, etc.:

http://www.googlelabs.com/

I find google's /accessible versions of its search sites often limiting. For
example, on the regular Google search pages, the /accessible version doesn't
list the number of total hits.

I went to this link. And the top of the page, it says Google Labs was being phased out.
I don't really know what the Labs thing was even. But I was curious and went and looked. There was a ton of other things on the page that Google had and I did not check them out.

So if you would not mind, what is or was Google Labs?
I assume it is not pictures of dogs. <g>

Thanks.

I also went there in ignorance and out of curiosity. I found, as with the
rest of Google, that the site that doesn't claim accessibility is perfectly
accessible and provides more information than the site that does.
