[Bulk] IE9 and typing web addresses
Dave...
Gezim,
This happens all the time for me even with IE7. Arrowing through edit boxes does tend to get you "stuck" in a list of suggested entries. A couple points: 1. Simply press Esc and Tab away from that field. 2. Avoid using the arrow if you can, and stick to the Tab key. I'm pretty sure that if you turn off Auto Forms mode this problem will go away. However if you like Auto Forms mode then I think you can desensitize JAWS reaction to these edit fields by changing the Navigation Quick Key Delay time in the auto forms mode settings dialog. Dave Carlson From my Dell Latitude 630, currently not nearly close enough for my comfortto my Audio Recording and Mixing Studios, San Francisco Bay Area. But I'll try to remedy that situation. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gezim Rexha" <gezim_rexha@...> To: "The Jaws for Windows support list." <jfw@...> Sent: Monday, August 08, 2011 4:20 Subject: [Bulk] Re: IE9 and typing web addresses Hi David, Yes, any edit box in any web page. I apologize for not being able to explain it properly, but I really find it annoying that whenever I am about to enter some text, and if I accidentally arrow down, it predicts the text, and I can read, for example, all what I had searched earlier in Google.
