I am using JFW 12.0.1169 on my Windows 7 Home Premium system, and this command brings up the Window List Dialog with a Running Applications List Box, a Switch To Button, a Cancel Button and an About Button. Pressing Enter on an item in the list will switch to a running application just as it has always done. Maybe a JAWS repair is in order. All:
With JAWS 12 and the Jaws task manager, has anyone noticed that it has gone missing? Insert plus F-10, which is the proper command (verified in keyboard help) -- no longer brings up the JAWS task manager. In fact, it does nothing. This is particularly unfortunate since the Task Bar in Windows 7 was broken by Microsoft. Now, both running applications and penned applications both appear on the task bar. It worked fine in Windows XP, and it is really needed in Windows 7 because the task bar is messed up -- as indicated above. I've been using Windows 7 for about 2 hours. ############################################################################################################# ANY FEDERAL TAX ADVICE CONTAINED IN THIS MESSAGE SHOULD NOT BE USED OR REFERRED TO IN THE PROMOTING, MARKETING OR RECOMMENDING OF ANY ENTITY, INVESTMENT PLAN OR ARRANGEMENT, AND SUCH ADVICE IS NOT INTENDED OR WRITTEN TO BE USED, AND CANNOT BE USED, BY A TAXPAYER FOR THE PURPOSE OF AVOIDING PENALTIES UNDER THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. ############################################################################################################# This E-mail message is confidential, is intended only for the named recipient(s) above and may contain information that is privileged, attorney work product or otherwise protected by applicable law.
