Try selecting by shift and arrow back (left arrow). Usually I've found that
I'm positioned just after the object, not before the object.

Hi lister,

I am using word 2003 and i was trying to select objects to group it. I list
the objects using the keystroke ctrl+shift+o. But when i try to select the
objects using the shift key and arrow down the objects could not be
selected. How should i select the objects. Is there another way of
selecting.
