copy and paste from firefox

Heya folks,
Am running Jaws 11 and firefox 3.16 and the copy and paste text from any webpage is always incorrect and drives me nuts, is there a work around or something I can do to get Jaws to paste the correct text? cheers, Jim -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Hi Jim, I don't think your on your own because I have notice with IE that Jaws 12 which is what I'm using doesn't always copy and paste it into edit boxes. So what I mean is that because I often can't spell a word I try my best to type it into google and when I find it on a link if I copy and then go back to the search box and paste it jaws won't paste what I have previously copyed to the clip board.
On top of that I can't reproduce it. It sometimes work and other times fails completely. Jim what are your experiences? When trying to paste something from a link, it frequently won't work. If you find the word in regular text, it should work.

Strange. That happens to me sometimes with IE, but not Firefox. I never figured out why it happens, so I just copy and paste from the browser that works, which in my case is Firefox.

I think the below instructions for j-11 are what you need to fix the trouble your having. open the "adjust jaws options" menu in the IE window (insert and V) down arrow until you hear, "virtual cursor options". under this, arrow down to "Select and Copy - Full content using onscreen highlight ". hit the spacebar on this until you hear "Select and Copy - From Virtual Cursor " ttab to the close button and hit enter HTH, elf . I haven't had any trouble with either item unless the link used a graphic named the proper name of the link, that and the trouble I sent in the cure for are the only problems I have had or herd of.
