When you have the automatically check for updates to Firefox box checked, tab 3 times to, When updates to Firefox are found. Here you will have 2 choices; 1. Ask me what I want to do, radio button. 2. Automatically download & install the update, radio button. So, you can make a choice of what you want to do with updates, then tab to okay, press enter, to close & return to your home page. Hope this helps. Take care. Mike

What excellent instructions, and how thoughtful of you to go to this trouble. I've just tested them on a non-Firefox page (for the record, Amazon.com) and they still work.
