Sorry for forgetting to put in web site address.
Jaws says it has no links or headings. I am trying to find information on several of their products like the plustek 3900

I hit Enter when it said clickable, and it took me to a page with links.

You are right, jaws reports no links.  However if you notice there are elements that say for example “Graphic img/go_image3 clickable“.  If you hit spacebar on these they will bring up new pages that do indeed have links.

I remember having an exchange with someone on the JAWS for Windows group about this website several months ago.  It is odd in that the main page uses a single large picture, with a clear dividing line down the middle, the left side of which has what used to be (and maybe still is) called a hotspot associated with it that will route you to the Plustek Imaging Products homepage while the other side routes you to the Plustek Security Products homepage (and has, of course, a different hotspot associated with it).  There should be at least two clickable elements on the screen.

There is also a checkbox below the dual hotspot graphic with the label, "Remember this page," with a "thought blob" that probably won't read at all that adds, "Page selected will become your default page.  Access to other sites will be available at the Home page."

I get "nothin' and lots of it" when I try to navigate this page using NVDA other than the "Best scanner . . ." announcement and nothing about the checkbox.  With Window Eyes I get the "Best Scanner . . ." announcement but it does announce the "Remember this page" checkbox.

If you use the imaging products plustek site frequently it might be worth checking that checkbox and having a sighted assistant be certain to click on the left side of the graphic.  That way in the future you'll be taken to the imaging website by default.  Of course, if it's the security side you want, just have the assistant click on the right side.

I have yet to see any problem, however complicated, which, when looked at in the right way, did not become still more complicated.
