Right, I think well, someone installed jfw for me. So don't entirely know on that one but. They unblocked it for me and it works now.

What do we do if for some reason the newer version of skype and/or gw connect stop working when this happens? I know it's unlikely, but I'm just planning ahead in case there's a slim chance it may hap

Seriously? Fewwwwwwww'w'w'w! I thought the desktop API is what they came out with in 2010. Does this effect regular skype though? If so, how does it not effect GwConnect?
