I wish they could ever fix the random appearance of demo mode in Jaws. The only machine I have that does that is a Dell running Windows 7 64 bit.

Authorization keys: UEFI firmware update may cost you a license key
Hmmm, is that the reason I end up in 40-minute mode on my other Dell Windows 7 laptop, seemingly randomly on even a reboot by reboot basis?

Yeah, this old Mac Book I have XP on never gives me trouble that way. It must be a thing about certain machines or something.

Maybe the Behringer Xenyx 302USB would work. It's a small USB-powered mixer. I had an archived message mentioning it I saved in case I would ever find myself in the situation to need to transcribe fro

Winamp Alternative
If you were thinking of switching because of the old news of Winamp's potential demise, it looks like another company has acquired Winamp and will still be keeping it alive.

Anybody used program Silver Light with JAWS in transcription job?
If it is Microsoft Silver light, the accessibility isn't so great with JFW most of the time. If it is another transcription platform with the same name, I never heard of that one.
