Yes, the screen is maximized. But, the problem remains. Also, I tested this in other MS Office applications like MS Word 2016 and they also have this same problem with the ribbons.

This may be an app specific setting, like for MS Word. And, that app specific setting can likewise be particular to one version of JAWS but not another, like in your situation. Check your app settings
