Assuming that this is a laptop, I went in and worked with someone from Office Max, and what they did was changed something in the Bios settings. They made this a permanent change.

I think this would be true of any type of internet browser. If you delete everything but passwords this will improve performance. You can also do this through Disk cleanup within file explorer.
