Vocalizer and difference in pronunciation
Robin: I don't like eloquence either. The version that used to ship with k1000 was better, but the one with jaws sounds like audio above a certain frequency is completely missing. I use Tom Premium Hi

Hello. Yes, synthesizers try to guess context, if they just pronounced words, they wouldn't work near as well. It becomes obvious when they guess wrong. May I ask why you are using the compact version

Problem with my WiFi
No, the connect automatically will save the wi-fi password and connect to that network whenever it is in range. If it doesn't do so, the driver is junk.

Power line adapters allow you to connect to ethernet using your electric wiring. Another thought is to get a different wi-fi adapter, sounds like what you bought wasn't any good.

Hmmm, are you saying it never starts the find command, or the find command isn't finding what you expect? If the first, ctrl-insert-f is supposed to work, and does everywhere I've ever tried it, ff, c

Depending on the computer, it is likely normal. The smaller they are, the harder they are to cool.

FS has a guide up on it. I'd read that and follow the instructions.

Please help with WinWord error...is it JAWS?
Since it doesn't mention jaws, I would start with the obvious, something has gone wrong with your ms-word. I'd suggest finding it in add/remove programs which you can search for by hitting the windows

how to get rid of Edge in start up?
He needs to make it bigger, Clicking more details will do that. Once that is done, ctrl-tab and ctrl-shift tab will change tabs no matter what has the focus.

I'm interested in playing chess against my computer, and this seems like the way to do it, but for two things: first of all, it won't stop speaking the time all the time, and second of all, it is hard

I'll give that a try. If it gets in my way I could maybe put it on another desktop or something.

No, I'm using the old sma method. I have had this going on for a while, but I never thought to look around and find out if it is in the sys-tray when it happens.

I have jaws set to speak at the logon screen, and to start speaking after I log in. The problem I'm having is that once it starts up again, insert-j does nothing. If I quit jaws and restart, it works
