Thinking of upgrading to 019
Well, it won't erase your current version, so you have nothing to lose but a little time and space. The beta fixed my thunderbird problem, and hasn't broken anything I can find yet.

Sounds unusual. What version of office, and windows? I am still using office 2007 and it is working normally.

I sure haven't found any other fix. Here is the beta webpage, there really isn't much to the install, it ks just like a regular install, except when you're done and reboot, the beta should come up. ht

jaws and chrome
It might be time for you to scan your computer for malware, I'd suggest downloading and running the free version of malware bytes. I'm having no problems with Chrome, except I'd rather use firefox.

strange navigation issue with firefox
Sounds like my dell. Fn-esc should set the function keys back to rights, but home and end are at the end of the row, not to the left of page up and page down.

Excel: unable to edit a cell using f2
Hmmm, I haven't changed any settings from the default and it is working here fine, at least with the latest beta, I haven't tried anything else.

Well, it depends on you. I ran the beta programs, so I'll go and delete jaws 2018, everything seems fine here. If you didn't run the betas, you might want to give it a month. CH

Try a different browser. I used Chrome and firefox and it worked with jaws in both places. It took 12 presses of b for chrome to hit full-screen.

Which version of Firefox Quantum works best with JAWS 2019?
Not necessarily. Unfortunately the latest version has broken some controls, I think the thing I need to use that is now broken is a combo box. It doesn't work with nvda or jaws either one. Personally,

Need Details On New Annual Jaws Home Subscription
It sounds like it would be a bit more flexible since you don't have to fight with the activation as much if you use a lot of different computers, but otherwise it looks like a way to generate more rev

Ccleaner replacement
c-cleaner was handy for a few limited situations. I'd never run it just for the heck of it, though. Registries generally never get enough junk in them that cleaning would make a noticeable difference,
