Forget about the Weather feature in Research It.?? The Braille Wunderground site that Research It uses to obtain its weather information is apparently gone for good.?? Attempting to access it directly results in a server error.?? So unless Vispero modifies JAWS to work with another weather site, this feature will remain broken, just like the Amazon and UPS options, which also seem to be broken, according to reports on another JAWS site. It is time for Vispero to ditch Research It once and for all because it has become a headache for them to maintain. ?? Gerald

Hello: At work I just got a new computer with Windows 10. It has Outlook 2013 installed. The issue is when I am composing an Email… When putting in the addresses, JAWS says the full name as it auto completes, but when I tab it only reads a small portion of the address. Also in the body of the message each line is really small. When the message is sent and received, the formatting is as usual. Any ideas about what I need to correct so the formatting is less confusing as I write out messages? Thanks in advance.

Hi, John. To maximize the screen when composing a message,
1. Open the new message. 2. Press ALT plus SPACE. 3. Arrow up twice to Maximize. If Maximize says “unavailable” the screen is already maximized. Just press ESCAPE to return to the message. 4. If in step 3 you did not hear the word “unavailable”, Press ENTER.
You will be back in the message you were about to compose. The screen will be maximized.

I don’t think it is related to compact view, as that is about the presentation of the messages list, but you can certainly turn it off to check. It’s on the View ribbon, under View settings, which is the second button from the left. Once on that, go to the button for other view settings and press enter to open a dialog of options. Tab until you heard the checkbox for compact view. Uncheck it and also be sure the next radio button is set to always show in single line.
