I think I have “smart quotes” in my instructions. I typed the instructions from Mail on my iMac, and, when I read your quotes VoiceOver reads Quote yes quote and in my instructions, VoiceOver reads right double quote Yes right double quote. I agree with Russell’s approach. That is exactly how I would do it. Technically you can combine both of the formulas into one cell, but I tend to like to show the results of each count in a different cell.

I have scheduled a training session (via Skype) with a BrailleNote user for tomorrow to provide some training in using the Apex which I recently purchased, primarily as a Notetaker. I am reaching out to the list to request some assistance with using Skype, a program that I haven’t used in a number of years. I have set up a Skype account and downloaded the Windows 10 desktop version of Skype and reviewed the JAWS/Skype keyboard commands. What I would appreciate is the opportunity to review some of these commands and get some direction in adding a contact and setting up a Skype session to participate in this Apex training, again scheduled for tomorrow. Then, to get the total number of tasks that are in column A this is: =sub.total(3;a:a)1 : here i'm not sure about the name but you may find it from the Math category. Then fi you want a percentage this is first divided by second as follows: =nb.if(b2:b10;"yes") / (sub.total(3;a:a)1)

Hi, Jed. Make sure your Dropbox folder hasn't switched to Tiles View. Try left and right arrows and see if it gives you your file listing.

As far as I’m aware there isn’t, but if it’s an issue particular to JAWS you can always bring it up on this list. Plenty of Wordpress users here.

At wordpress.com, there is an accessibility support group. However, I have found it nonresponsive and inactive. So, I am wondering if there is some other support group for accessibility issues such as using a screen reader with WordPress?

I have a Dell laptop, get the same issue, actually there is nothing on the screen and nothing to clear. We both always takes this away and it has something to do with Dell proprietary software.

Are you talking just marking to then copy, or cut? Those keystrokes also work on the web and you follow the insert+space m with the copy command, control+c, etc.

Yes, you can use JAWS commands to mark blocks of text. All screen readers have this capability now.
In the forthcoming book Windows Keyboard Power User Guide, which should actually finally appear in the next couple weeks, I show you how to create a better set of keystrokes to do this, but until then:
Go to the beginning of the block you want to set and press ctrl+windows+K.
Go to the end of the block and press Jawskey+space, M.
