Hi,
On my HP laptop, its f6 by itself.
I'm constantly muting my sound, including jaws, by accident.
So, I wish I could change this keystroke.
Does anyone know of an easy, accessible way to do this?

I have a feeling it'll help both of us.

Hi I am not completely sure what you are referring to here.

When I use team viewer, I can tab around to different fields. One
will give a user name which the other person will need. This number
will stay the same for that specific computer for all future sessions.
The other item is a 4 digit password which the other person needs as
well. This password changes for each session. JAWS will read both of
these numbers, occasionally I have had to use the JAWS cursor to review for the user number.

You may have to wait a minute or so for the information to appear.
Once the second person enters this information, they can view your
computer. They can also operate your computer to some extent, so be
sure it is someone you are comfortable with.

I tryed using teamviewer, but i can't swich between my and remote computers.
Also, jaws keyboard shortcuts dos't work.
Only usable solution for me is combination of teamviewer and nvda
remote, but if exist solution for swiching computers, and using
completely with keyboard and screen reader i will use only tteam viewer.

           If the intent is simply to move an existing Windows 10 installation from one drive to another, and gain space in the process, there is no need for either a new Windows 10 license nor to install Windows 10 using same.

          Since the Win10 digital license is tied to the motherboard, you can swap out system components other than the motherboard at will (and can even change that out were it to fail, but MS has a specific procedure for re-licensing under that special condition).

           If you want to move an existing installation to a larger drive, I'd just clone the existing system drive to the new, larger one.   Some cloning software actually will allow you to expand the existing partition or partitions into the new free space as part of that process, others won't.  If the latter is the case, then you'd have to do the repartitioning to expand your existing partition or partitions into the new free space and/or move them around after the clone.

Well, pressing alt+u results in a “ding” sound; indicating that no action could be taken.  And, the “try” command thing remains.  I am not using the subscription version of Outlook; that is, Office 360.  I am indeed using Outlook 2016 and JAWS 2019.

Not for me, if I press the alt key and focus is on the Home menu all I have to do is arrow left twice and it will either say Turn on features coming soon or Turn off features coming soon checked.

Are you maximized? I guess you can try Alt + U and see what happens, it’s a toggle so if things change for the worse just press it again.

I assume you are talking about the subscription version of Outlook and not the retail version?

Your below is interesting.  However, for me when I follow these steps I end up hearing a series of "try" commands.  What are those?  I do not hear the option button about new features.  I wonder if my hearing these "try" commands means that I have the new features option turned-on?  Perhaps an alt+u would toggle them off?  What do you think?

Have you checked if the "Coming Soon" feature in Outlook is turned off?

When you are in your Inbox press the Alt key to bring up the ribbon menu, you should be on "Home", now left arrow twice, here is Jaws History:

I press the Alt key and here this:

Upper Ribbon, Ribbon, Home Tab, Alt followed by H I press the left arrow once and here this:

Leaving menus, File Tab Button, Alt followed by F I press the left arrow a second time and here this:

Ribbon Tabs Tab expanded, Turn on features coming soon Button, Alt followed by U

As you can see Alt followed by U is the shortcut, but that will just toggle it and not tell you if it's on or off.

If it says " Turn on features coming soon" then it is off and your problem is a different one.

But if you hear Turn off features coming soon Button checked" then it is on and you can turn this off by pressing the spacebar.

Note that whether you turn it on or off Jaws will focus on an "OK" button and the message which it seems you can only read with the touch cursor is simply this:

You must restart this application for the changes to take effect.

OK

So go ahead and press OK, then close Outlook completely, wait a few seconds and reopen it, now try to see if you can read those fields with the shortcut keys.

I suggest this should be turned off, if it is on you may get upcoming features which could cause issues like this before Vispero and/or Microsoft has time to make any necessary changes.

I certainly also don't have any issues with Alt + 1, Alt + 2 and so on reading the From, To, CC etc. Fields.

I am able to  read the sender information with alt and number keys without any issues.

Please verify the focus once the message opens.

if the focus is on the message and if you are not able to read the information with the alt and number keys, then, there might some issues with the jaws.

On the version of Teamviewer I have, It pops up with a window that says "Obedia", which means that I would be logging on to the company that now owns PC Audio Labs. That particular version I have is specifically for PC Audio Labs Technical Support screen sharing.

1. If by “dark mode” you mean a high contrast setting, I use the Windows High Contrast color scheme for this.  The color scheme options available within Office programs don’t seem to make any visible difference to me.  The potential downside of using high contrast is that it overrides most color flagging in Outlook and Excel.  In other words, Outlook offers options to have certain messages or calendar entries color coded and these don’t show up in the High Contrast color scheme.  The exception is items on your task list or that you have flagged in your inbox with a due date will turn red once overdue. Same goes for Excel. If I get a spreadsheet with cells that have been shaded in a particular color, the Windows High Contrast scheme overrides this.  This is actually great for me when I’m focused on the content of the cells and using a bit of remaining vision, but is a terrible problem when I am trying to ensure that my spreadsheet looks presentable to sighted people I’m about to send it to.  I sometimes turn off the Windows High Contrast Color scheme to review a spreadsheet before sending.
