And I doubt that you'll be the only one.   Once "word hits the street" or, more likely, someone goes to use a feature that's been around since day one (practically, it certainly was there when I started with JAWS around 10 years ago) and finds it gone.

As you've already noted, there are plenty of instances where nothing else will do.  This decision makes no sense as it emulates an essential function under Windows which sometimes absolutely must be used.

They told me that in most cases, CONTROL plus C, and CONTROL plus V act as drag and drop. However, there are cases where the object to be dragged and dropped doesn’t respond to the clipboard actions.

JAWS script for Image describer NVDA add-on

Oliver Edholm

Hi everyone!
I'm wondering if people would be interested of a JAWS script version for an NVDA add-on I've made.
The add-on is called "Image describer", it takes the current navigator object and then says what it contains by looking at it visually. Kind of like the Facebook auto alt text, but this works anywhere.

The add on can be downloaded at http://www.screenreader.ai/
Since the feedback from the NVDA community has been very positive I thought that a JAWS version would be also appreciated by people.

F6 should do it. I always use alt-v, then h. It is a carry-over from before the ribbon. To insert a header is alt+n, then h.
