Hi,

I personally use 1Password that is fairly accessible. I noticed better usability with Jaws than NVDA, but most of the features can be performed with the keyboard.

The only complication is the sign up process and subscription. I can remember spending times on their site to get it in place. But once done, it's ok.

Last pass is not very accessible, you need to click the mouse on lots
of stuff and its rather obscure in some places -- I needed sighted
help via Aira to get it going.  It does have lots of good features and
the IOS app is pretty accessible, but not the PC.

Outlook 2019, JAWS 2019, Win. 10, and I am among those who are. If there’s a way to kill that unnecessary message, I’d love to learn them!

sometimes, when I pass the cursor over a message in the inbox, JAWS says If you have any trouble reading this message open it in a web browser.

the person is using outlook 2016, I'm using this version not seeing/hearing that behavior.

I've been using internet explorer for years and would like to make the switch to a better web browser. Can someone give me an idea of the web browsers we can use successfully with Jaws 2019 and windows 10?

We also use bitlocker and it loads before JAWS, so it can be a bit tricky if you don’t have light perception.   I can see when the screen is dark because it’s just starting up with the HP logo, then I can see when the screen is filled with a light color, which means I can enter my Bitlocker password.  A hint I was given and love is to use a numeric only password for bitlocker so you are not stuck if caps lock is on or off.  I use a childhood phone number so all I’m entering is the numbers on the number row.

It starts before the login-screen appears.

I have to type my pincode with blind-typing but it works for me.

Before that we have used RSA Tokens and that is more a challenge.

Yes, as long as it doesn’t prompt for a password while loading the operating system, which it shouldn’t if your machine has Trusted Platform Module (TPM) hardware. If there’s no TPM, I’m not sure what BitLocker does – it may ask for a password, and if so, this would probably happen before JAWS starts.

 

I’ve used it successfully with JAWS on laptops that have TPM modules.
