So the 06.10 version of JAWS was supposed to fix the alt+1 through 4 hotkeys in Outlook 365. I can’t speak for anyone else, but on mine, it did not. Additionally, certain listviews that read properly yesterday no longer do so. For example, Tween’s listviews only partially read, and only if I do a say line. The same might be true for anyone using Open Tween. I thought it might have been an issue with my settings, but running JAWS in alternate default user directory mode produces the same result. Is anyone else noticing either of these issues, or am I one of today’s lucky winners?

I think virtualizing the keyboard manager window will be the
closest you'll get. As far as I'm aware there is no full list. But
then, I'm back to JAWS after years away from it, so things might
have changed.

Hi, Tim. To get to Sound schemes,
1. Open JAWS Settings Center either by using JAWS key plus six on the numbers row, or Press JAWS key plus F2, and press S twice to get to Settings Center. 2. In the search box, type the word scheme 3. When JAWS says Speech and sound schemes, Arrow down once, and press ENTER on Sound Schemes. 4. When JAWS says Speech and Sound Schemes closed, Press Right Arrow to open Sound schemes. 5. Press F6 to reach the pane where you can select the sound scheme you want. 6. Arrow up and down through the available sound schemes. 7. Once you have found the scheme you want, close Settings Center with ALT plus F4. JAWS will tell you that you have made changes, and ask if you wish to save them. 8. If you wish to save the changes, press SPACE on the Yes prompt.
That’s it.

Hi Brian,
No, this is a list of schemes in
Jaws that you can choose from to report different attributes, fonts, colors....
depending on which scheme you select and what application you select it
in.

Re: That feature where you can change to all that font information.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "that feature" and "all that font information."
In most Microsoft programs in the Office Suite where the font can be selected (whether you have selected text you wish to modify, or just to reset the font you want to use from the current insertion point forward) is the Home Ribbon (ALT+H). The Font Face itself is FF following the previously mentioned key combo and the Font Size is FS. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1809, Build 17763 Here is a test to find out whether your mission in life is complete. I usually select the part of the file I want to change, move the jaws cursor to the font name near the top of the screen, and type the name of the font I want. Same with the font size.
For a new file I will enter a couple of blank lines, select and change as above. Enter new text between the lines And delete the blank lines.
I usually get lost when trying to use the ribbon to select a font.

Howdy Shirley,
I'm not sure which version of Windows 10 introduced the Emoji panel, but I never played around with it until Windows 10, 1903 OS Build 18362.145. I do know you can't access the Emoji panel with Jaws2018, or at least I can't on my computer, but I can with Jaws2019. To access the Emoji panel use, Windows key + semicolon, or, Windows key + period. Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go dodgers! Yes, but which version of Windows 10, there is no issue if you are still on 1809, it is after installing 1903 where Jaws doesn’t announce the opening of the emoji panel. I have confirmed this with several people on the Jaws Beta list and filed a bug report about it today. It’s not that big of a deal and I’m sure it can be fixed without too much trouble.

Hi Peter,
You didn’t say which screenreader you use, but if you use Jaws then for me also Jaws says nothing about the emoji panel opening, but it opens nonetheless and if I press right arrow or down arrow Jaws will announce whichever emoji you might be on. I am on the Jaws Beta list and I will file a bug report, I also feel Jaws should say “Emoji Panel” or something like this to indicate it is open. Brian, there seems to be very little delay for me, I will have to ask a sighted person to watch, but if I press Windows + Period and immediately press enter as fast as I can the 😊emoji is already inserted. Interestingly enough just now Jaws is telling me “Emoji panel is closed” when I press Windows + Period, but when I arrow around I hear emojis and I can insert them by pressing enter. There is obviously something strange going on how Jaws gets information there, but like I said, I’ll file a bug report.

Re: Lost command to bring up the Emoji panel?

I’m using windows10 and office 2016. I have tried to bring up the emoji menu with jaws2018 and 2019. Both times the menu comes up and jaws just says menu. I have tried to tab and arrow and nothing is said. After tabbing I will just press enter. A few times it tells me the name of an emoji. Most of the time Jaws doesn’t say anything. Do I need to do something else within Jaws to get it to work? Why would it work for some and not for others?
