The one issue I have with 2019 is that I can no longer use Microsoft Mail. It crashes when I try to navigate the Inbox. I contacted Microsoft Support, we did a remote session and they confirmed the issue. I then contacted support at FS when I learned that NVDA and Mail work fine together Awaiting a response from FS.

You could always do what the error message said and contact technical support with that error message.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
I suspect since Jaws 2019 has one installer that detects if your system is 32 or 64 bit; that there isn't another installer unless the demos are different.
It is probably a video driver or video card issue of some kind; but since I'm not tech support, that is likely a useless guess.

Not really, but make sure you are using the 64bit installer on a 64bit machine rather than the the 32bit installer which worked on your other machine
And if that fails completely remove jaws from your machine and restart and try again
And if that fails maybe consider doing a system restore to a point when it did install or before jaws was installed initially
Other than that I have no idea as the error is so generic its impossible to find a solution
Good luck anyway

Hi. Whenever I have tried to Install Jaws 2019 demo on my Windows 7 64 bit. each time the installer shows this error message:
The setup failed to process the "FSVideoIntercept64" component. Restart your computer and run the setup again. If the error continues, contact technical support.
Code: 80070643
I tried Jaws 2019 April, May, and June release and encountered this error. the other thing is that in the same system, Jaws 18 and older versions installs well. Also, I should say that I tried installing Jaws 2019 on my another Windows 7 32 bit machine, and it installed without problem.
does anyone has any sollution for this?

Hi Joseph and Ann,
I don't think the issue that Jaws 2019 does not read the emojis, for me it reads them just fine when I arrow around, it only does not announce anything at all when you open the emoji panel. Ann, I would maybe call Jaws support, I am on the Jaws beta list and nobody has reported that Jaws doesn't read the emoji panel, but I did file a bug report about Jaws not saying something like "Emoji panel open" when you press Windows Key + Period or Semi Colon.

Re: jaws 2019?

Hi all. To be fair, Windows 10 handles accessibility differently
from it's legacy versions, and Jaws like other screen readers
have had to make serious adjustments to how it deals with "seeing"
the screen and such, hence it's perceived incompetence in some
areas. Screen readers are not independent applications as such
but rely on the stability of their environment to work well, and
it cannot be said that Windows 10 is yet as stable as it can be.
I am not for Jaws or anything like that, but in this case, i can
see what Jaws and screen readers in general have to contend with.

Re: Jaws no longer reads the Windows 10 emoji panel

🤷♂️ as you see jfw in this case with t-bird is properly announcing
not only the opening of the panel, but the proper icons. so I shrugged? or hopefully will do something else more
appropriate.👍 Curtis Delzer HS K 6 V F O Rialto, CA curtis@... On 6/19/2019 11:32 AM, ann wrote:

Windows update says my computer is up to date.So I guess 1903 isn't available for my system yet.

This behavior only started with the latest JFW updates, which is why I originally thought it was a Jaws problem. ~Ann

Re: Outlook issue

Control + Shift + Tab and Shift + F6 both get me into the folder list but won’t allow me to enter any of the folders by pressing space or enter or the right arrow. Is there another command to enter the folder?
Control + y works best for me to get to the folders list and enter a folder.
BTW I’m still using Jaws 2018 with Windows 1809 (OS Build 17763.557).
Cheers Zel

Shift + F6 also works for me to go back out of Drafts and into the folder list.

I’m not on Outlook 2019 yet, but offer the following keystroke to try. Hitting Control Shift I takes you back to your inbox from wherever you are in Outlook. See if that will work in this situation.

Hi all,
I’m using Office 2019 and when in Outlook, I can go to my drafts folder control +y and hit the d key until I hear drafts and hit enter. When in the drafts folder, I attempt to repeat to go back to the inbox or any other folder and cannot exit the drafts folder. I have to close Outlook and re-start to get out of the said drafts folder and back into inbox or any other chosen folder.
Any suggestions? I’m using Windows 10 with latest update, I’m using Jaws 2019 with latest update and again, Office 2019.
Thanks for all suggestions/help to fix this headache,
Rick
