Re: Question about the yearly payment plan for JAWS
In other words, you can only use Jaws as long as you maintain your subscription as is the case with any subscription whether it’s for a music service, a movie service, Office 365 etc. The nice thing about the Jaws subscription is that you get access to Jaws for a very affordable annual fee (not sure if you can also pay monthly) and that you are always entitled to use whatever the latest version of Jaws is. The subscription is basically purchase price and SMA all rolled into one annual subscription fee and as we all know this is a model many organisations adopt now, Office 365 is another good example.

Loy,
The JAWS home annual license is a subscription requiring annual renewal. It is a non-perpetual license that stops working when the license term expires.

If I were to decide to go with the JAWS yearly purchase plan for 2020 and then did not purchase the 2021 yearly plan, would I be able to use the 2020 version in 2021?

1Password 4's access is good up until you want to switch views, say, from passwords to credit cards or any of the other things 1Password can save. In fact, I've had so much trouble getting these other views to stay in focus once I click them with the JAWS Mouse Cursor button, that I am loath to upgrade to the newer cloud-based multi-device version for fear of the same accessibility problem being there in that version as well. Can you tell me--us--how that's done in the newer versions?

Hello,
I would like to turn off speech during a hangout meeting. I was trying to make souch profile to activate with insert+ctrl+s but this seems not to work.
Is there a quick way to turn off speech for a time or in a specific situation? Kind regards William Windels

Hi, I personally use 1Password that is fairly accessible. I noticed better usability with Jaws than NVDA, but most of the features can be performed with the keyboard. The only complication is the sign up process and subscription. I can remember spending times on their site to get it in place. But once done, it's ok. Tanguy Le 16/10/2019 à 06:15, John Covici a

someone on another list has this outlook issue,
sometimes, when I pass the cursor over a message in the inbox, JAWS says If you have any trouble reading this message open it in a web browser.
the person is using outlook 2016, I'm using this version not seeing/hearing that behavior.

Try using several browsers until you find the combo that works
best for you. I Personally use Brave, MS Edge beta and IE. Some
like Firefox but after the accessibility fiasco a while back I
gave it up.
